Almondcart Wines is a small vineyard at Charleston in the Adelaide Hills. After buying the rest of the vineyard in 2011, a disastrously wet vintage, the owners removed the remaining Savagnin and planted three clones of Grüner Veltliner.
The first Grüner vintage, in 2013, won a silver medal at the Alternative Varieties Wine Show in Mildura, encouraging them to plant more.
