Amicus is a McLaren Vale family wine label that combines an experienced winemaker with the fresh ideas of the family's next generation. The winemaker is the only one to have won the Dan Murphy Trophy three times and won the George Mackey Memorial Trophy for Australia's best export wine in 2011.
The approach is minimal, on the belief that good wine is made in the vineyard. Many of the vineyards used are organic or biodynamic, including the family's own 80-acre estate.
