Ampersand Estates was established in 2021 by Melissa Bell and her business partner, Corrie Scheepers. Situated along the forested banks of the Donnelly River in Pemberton, located in Western Australia's Southern Forests region, the property occupies a site that previously held Donnelly River Wines, one of the area's earliest wineries, which opened in 1985.
The producer makes cool-climate wines, featuring varieties such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Rosé. Additionally, the 2024 Pinot Noir received the WA's Favourite Wine title at the 2026 Top Up Wines Awards.
