Barnadown Run is a Heathcote winery on the Mount Camel Range, 4 km east of Toolleen and about 20 km north of Heathcote. Owner Andrew Millis does both the viticulture and the winemaking.
The 5-hectare vineyard, mainly Shiraz, sits on a 41-hectare property of the red Cambrian clay loam that Heathcote's best vineyards are known for, which drains well while holding moisture for dry-grown vines.
All fruit is hand-picked and fermented in many small batches, and the wines are unfiltered. The cellar door is usually open, though calling ahead is recommended.
