Cape Naturaliste Vineyard

Cape Naturaliste Vineyard is a boutique winery in a valley behind the Cape Naturaliste coastline, at the northern tip of the Margaret River region. Its cellar door is in a historic milking shed beside a 19th-century stone inn, and the wines reflect the vineyard's maritime climate.

The owners are Craig, a master mariner, ship's captain and marine pilot who fell for the South West as a young surfer, and Jen, who runs the cellar door with warmth and a ready anecdote and is a long-time volunteer with the animal rescue group SAFE Busselton. The range includes a red made in the Italian appassimento style, from naturally dried grapes that concentrate sugar, flavour and acidity.

Visitors praise the relaxed, down-to-earth welcome, tastings on the terrace overlooking the vines, and the dog-friendly setting.
