Phil Leamon established Chateau Leamon in Bendigo during 1973. He is the father of Ian Leamon, who has worked as a winemaker for more than forty years, beginning with the founding of this family winery.
The estate created a 1997 Shiraz. During his time, Phil Leamon made some of the thickest and inkiest red wines in the state.
