Circe Wines is a Mornington Peninsula producer founded by Dan Buckle and Aaron Drummond, who met at Mount Langi Ghiran in 2007. It specialises in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with fruit from a Hillcrest Road vineyard in Red Hill on deep red volcanic soil. The name comes from Homer's Odyssey, a metaphor for the seductions and perils of Pinot Noir.
In November 2022 Circe agreed to buy Stonier from Accolade Wines, including the brand, 26 hectares of vineyards and the Merricks winery and cellar door. It is now owned by the Drummond, McLeod and Thickins families, with Dan Buckle stepping away to focus on Domaine Chandon.
