Double Oaks Estate is a family winery, truffle farm and cellar door at Lancefield in the Macedon Ranges. The vineyard was first planted in 1980 on a patchwork of soils, each block giving something different, and grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grüner Veltliner.
The Chehab family has run Double Oaks since 2016. They restored the vineyard and built a five-acre truffière of French oaks from scratch, preparing the soil for Périgord black truffles, which trained dogs hunt each winter.
The family-friendly cellar door sells the estate's wines and truffle products.
