Duckett's Mill

Duckett's Mill Wines was established in 1996 at Denmark, in Western Australia's Great Southern, by Ross and Dallas Lewis, with first plantings of Riesling and Cabernet. The property was once home to a small timber mill that burned down in the 1950s, which inspired the name.

On Boxing Day 2004 the family opened Denmark Farmhouse Cheese, which makes award-winning artisan cheese from local Hicks Dairy milk, along with preserves, gelato and cakes. In 2025 Josh, with his wife Gemma and son Brooklyn, took over the running of the business with the support of their parents.

The cellar door is in a distinctive pine-slabbed farmhouse, with a deck overlooking the valley for restaurant-style dining and an open courtyard for warmer days.
