John Wall and his wife Michelle established the boutique Emersleigh Estate to fulfill a dream they held for over thirty years. The winery is positioned in Victoria, at the southern edge of the Yarra Valley in Emerald.
In 1996, the couple planted a two-hectare vineyard comprising 1.5 hectares of pinot noir, 0.3 hectares of chardonnay, alongside small blocks of sauvignon blanc and shiraz. The estate creates two wine ranges, namely the Off the Wall table wine and the Emersleigh sparkling wine. Winemaking at the property has involved John Wall and Jeff Wright.
