Fairbrossen is a small, family-run Margaret River winery that has made wine since 1995, when it planted its first vines at Wilyabrup. The family later built a small winery, vineyard and restaurant in the Perth Hills, and in 2019 moved the whole operation back to Margaret River.
The winery at Witchcliffe runs entirely on solar power, batteries and harvested rainwater, one of the first fully off-grid wineries in Western Australia. Its sustainable approach was inspired by early-2000s vintages with biodynamic and organic producers in Burgundy, the Languedoc and the Napa Valley.
Alongside Chardonnay, Malbec and Cabernet, recent plantings include Albariño, Fiano, Nebbiolo and Tempranillo.
