Felton Road is a renowned Pinot Noir producer at Bannockburn in Central Otago, New Zealand, which released its 30th vintage in 2026. It is farmed biodynamically, treating the farm as a single living organism: composts are made with the biodynamic preparations, vineyard work follows the biodynamic calendar, cover crops and wildflowers grow among the vines, goats keep the briar down on the hillsides and chickens forage between the rows.
Felton Road has measured its carbon footprint for more than a decade to the rigorous ISO 14064 standard, across growing, winemaking, bottling and shipping to more than 40 countries, and has embraced solar power.
The team of more than 25 people is closely involved in the wider Central Otago wine community, and visitors are welcome at the cellar door.
