Flinders Bay

Flinders Bay is a Margaret River producer based on the Karridale Vineyard, 45 kilometres south of Margaret River township and close to Flinders Bay. Influenced by both the Southern and Indian Oceans, Karridale is distinctly cooler than the north of the region and has been found to be the coolest grape-growing area in Western Australia.

The 50-hectare vineyard was planted between 1995 and 1998 on a former 80-hectare dairy farm, with Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec. Vineyard practices, trellising and yields are all set with a single aim: optimum quality.

The cool site gives fresh, elegant wines, particularly whites.
