Fox Gordon was founded in 2000 by Sam and Rachel Atkins (née Fox), Jane Gordon, David Cumming and winemaker Natasha Mooney, and is named after founding women Rachel Fox and Jane Gordon.
Its estate of about 150 acres is at Kuitpo in the Adelaide Hills, at around 380 metres overlooking McLaren Vale, with fruit also from contract growers. The range includes Fiano, Tempranillo, Montepulciano, Nero d'Avola, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Shiraz.
