HEX Wine Co is built around Ash and Abby Barratt's family vineyard on the slopes of the Kenton Valley in the Adelaide Hills. In 2014 they fulfilled a long-held dream of owning a vineyard, a place with higher rainfall to raise their two boys with country values.
Vines cover more than 60 acres of the 90-acre property, and every wine is made in small batches from their own fruit. Each variety is matched to clone, soil and aspect.
The vineyard is managed on biodynamic principles, and both the vineyard and the winemaking are certified sustainable.
