Kirrihill Wines draws on vineyard sites across the Clare Valley, a region whose hot days and cool nights give wines that are powerful yet elegant, with ripe fruit and long natural acidity. Its sources include the well-known Schobers vineyard south of Leasingham and Slate Creek in Watervale, as well as sites north of Clare.
The winery grows premium grapes with careful attention to each vineyard block and makes wine in advanced facilities with a minimal-intervention approach, so each site's character comes through. Its red wines are unfined and vegan-friendly. The range runs from the fruit-driven, approachable Regional Series, including award-winning Riesling, to the Single Vineyard Series from some of the valley's best sites.
Kirrihill has been certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia since 2022. Rather than a traditional cellar door, it offers private tastings and luxury experiences by appointment.
