Lake Cooper Estate is a family-owned winery at Corop in the north of the Heathcote region, Victoria, guided by proprietor LiPing Wang. Its 80-acre estate vineyard has an easterly aspect and mineral-rich soils, and is managed to express both Heathcote's classic character and the individuality of the site.
The philosophy is 'small and refined', with minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery, aiming for wines of purity, complexity and elegance that age with grace. As well as Shiraz, the estate makes an unusual Heathcote Cabernet Sauvignon from its elevated, rocky ground, with vibrant cassis and fine tannins.
A new winery is under development and more vineyard planting is planned. A brand-new cellar door opened in June 2026, welcoming visitors on Saturdays.
