Lambrook is an Adelaide Hills wine label that began in 2008 with two small parcels of exceptional fruit, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc, and a 'half-crazy idea' of making wine under their own label. The founders had always dreamed of people ordering their wines in restaurants.
They set out to make quality wines that over-delivered on price, starting with family and friends, then boutique retailers and restaurants, doing everything themselves from taking orders to deliveries. Over the following years they added varieties from personally chosen parcels across the Adelaide Hills, and in 2015 Lambrook became their full-time career.
Each variety comes from a small, carefully selected parcel, mostly hand-picked, and made with traditional methods such as open fermentation and hand plunging.
