Lerida Estate is a boutique cool-climate winery on the shores of Lake George, at the foot of the Cullerin Range just outside Canberra. Its aim is distinctive, world-class wines that reflect the site where they are grown.
The vineyard was first planted in 1997, with about 20 acres on the lower slopes of the Lake George Range. Pinot Noir is a focus, alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz, and some Shiraz is also sourced from growers in the wider Canberra District. A Museum Collection releases aged wines from the best years.
The cellar door and café are open seven days, with an indoor barrel room and a sunny courtyard overlooking Lake George, live music and tasting events.
