Magarey Lane is a premium wine label from the heart of Coonawarra, on the region's famous terra rossa over limestone.
The vineyard was planted in 1989 and for more than 30 years supplied grapes to well-known brands such as Reschke. Its largely unirrigated vines are now mature and produce ripe, concentrated fruit.
Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, with smaller plantings of Shiraz, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The fruit from these old, low-yielding vines is picked and made in small separate batches.
