Monak Wine Co is a very small family-owned producer in the Murray Darling region, the result of 25 years of winemaking experience there. It focuses on handmade, small-batch wines from the best local growers.
The wines start in the vineyard, where the team tastes through each vineyard with the growers to choose the best parcels and harvest dates. The first vintage, in 2020, was just 20 tonnes, so each parcel gets close care in the winery.
The cellar door opened in 2021 and is usually open on Fridays and Saturdays, or by appointment.
