Moondah Brook Estate was established in 1968 at Gingin in Western Australia's Swan District, planted by Valencia Vineyards. It was long associated with Houghton and later owned by groups including Accolade and Vinarchy.
The estate played a key role in propagating the Gingin Chardonnay clone, and its 1983 Verdelho won the trophy for best white at the Melbourne Show. In 2026 the Bahen family bought the vineyard, brand and stock, returning it to Western Australian ownership, with Calneggia Family Vineyards handling marketing.
