Oakridge is a Yarra Valley winery, cellar door and restaurant at Coldstream, focused on single-vineyard wines from the valley's cool climate. The Yarra Valley was one of Victoria's first wine regions, with vines planted in 1838, and after a long lull it revived in the 1960s and 70s; Oakridge was part of that new wave.
The winery is best known for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, along with Syrah and Cabernet, sourced from its own vineyards and selected sites across the valley's varied soils and elevations. Its top tier, the 864 Single Block Release, showcases individual blocks within those vineyards and is regarded as a benchmark for Yarra Valley Chardonnay.
Oakridge's vineyards are certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, and the business aims to manage its land so it can be handed on in good condition. The cellar door and restaurant overlook the vineyards and the surrounding ranges.
