Patritti Wines

Patritti Wines was founded in 1926 by Giovanni Patritti, one of the first Italian immigrants to South Australia. In 1925, aged 25, he left his village of Carrù in Piedmont, believing he was sailing to America to join his sister, but landed instead at Port Adelaide, where he built a new life and a winery.

Patritti is Adelaide's only remaining fully family-owned, working urban winery, on a suburban street at Dover Gardens just 12 kilometres from the city centre. It is a genuine grapes-to-glass operation, controlling everything from fermentation to packaging. Its rare Urban Vineyard Collection is made from three historic vineyards within the City of Marion, alongside the Family range of wines from South Australian regions.

In the early 1970s the family diversified into fruit juices, now a long-standing part of the business, and it also makes V.no, a non-alcoholic wine from South Australian grapes.
