Paulmara Estates is a family winery in the Barossa Valley, founded by Paul and Mara Georgiadis in 1999. Paul planted the first vines on their Marananga home block in 1995, and in 2011 the family expanded by buying Paradigm Vineyards with four like-minded friends, letting Paulmara select the best parcels from both vineyards.
Mara grew up in an agricultural family in Sonoma County, California, where her father is a globally recognised viticultural expert. She worked for six years at a major vine nursery, gaining experience in grafting, harvest and vintage, and studied agribusiness at California Polytechnic State University.
Family is at the heart of Paulmara, and its wines are inspired by the people and moments that shape its story. The cellar door offers intimate tastings.
