Pomonal Estate is a family-owned winery, microbrewery and restaurant at Pomonal, 10 minutes from Halls Gap at the foot of the Grampians. Founders Adam and Pep began exploring the idea of owning a winery in 2014, visiting more than 23 businesses across three states, but always wanted to come home to Pomonal.
Pomonal Estate opened on 20 December 2017. Its three-acre vineyard grows Shiraz and Riesling, alongside small-batch beers and local food.
The estate now includes luxury villas and IRIS Restaurant & Wine Bar, and a seasonal pop-up cellar door opens on weekends from spring to autumn.
