Ten Miles East is a nine-acre estate in the Adelaide Hills, in a valley off Old Norton Summit Road on the way to Basket Range. The land was once an apple orchard, and the winery was the Mould family's Auldwood Cider Company factory.
In the early 2000s the property was planted to vines, seven varieties across five acres. Owners and winemakers James and Taiita Champniss took it over in 2013 and handcraft very small batches from estate-grown fruit.
The small cellar door welcomes walk-ins, with structured tastings and views over the vineyard.
