The Boneline is a family partnership of Paul Tutton, Olga Sienko, Vic Tutton and viticulturist Lindsay Hill, beside the Waipara River in North Canterbury. Planting began in 1989 on terraces of gravel, river silt and limestone.
It takes its name from the nearby exposed K-T boundary, and its labels show fossils found in the Waipara River. Varieties include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.
