Winemaker Andrew Hedley established Tylers Stream in the Wairau Valley. Many of the contributing vines are planted around the winery on stony, silty, and well-drained riverbed soils, positioned close to where the Tyler Stream flows.
The producer makes Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc using an unwooded, unoaked, fruit-driven, and easy-drinking approach. Its wines feature tasting notes of kiwifruit, lychee, lemongrass, passionfruit, asparagus, freshly cut grass, pineapple, gooseberry, and citrus with lime. This label has also claimed accolades at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards.
