Wombat Forest Vineyard was established in 1997 by husband and wife Brendon and Dee on the edge of the Wombat State Forest at Denver, near Daylesford, with two clones of Pinot Noir and a little Cabernet Sauvignon. Their families have lived and farmed locally since the mid-1800s.
The boutique winery and cellar door offer country hospitality and were voted the most popular winery in the Macedon Ranges and Spa Country in the Australian Good Food Guide Reader's Choice Awards in 2023 and 2024.
