Yering Farm is a family-owned Yarra Valley winery, run by the Johns family since 1989. Founder and winemaker Alan Johns came to it after touring the countryside in his camper, inspired by what he saw and drank.
The estate is a working farm, with ducks on the dam and the owners often out among the vines. The family makes handcrafted wines and cider.
The rustic cellar door on St Huberts Road at Yering is open seven days, with guided tastings, a large lawn for families and a pet-friendly welcome. The family also offers The George at Yering, a self-contained farmhouse on the property.
