Yokel makes wine in the Swan Valley, which is Western Australia's most historic wine district. Josephine Perry from Dormilona is the winemaker behind the label, working with ancient, dry-grown Grenache bush vines.
The brand directs financial returns from all purchases to assist the Western Swamp Tortoise, a critically endangered reptile indigenous to the Swan Valley in Perth. Specifically, Dormilona contributes a percentage of Yokel proceeds to the Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise organisation.
