Bad Neighbours Wine was established and is run by winemakers Leesa and Samuel Mealing. Prior to starting the label, the pair managed a home-brew shop in Marrickville, spent time living in London, and worked the 2022 harvest on a permaculture farm in France.
The operation sources grapes from vineyards throughout the Hunter Valley, including Broke and Rothbury. Their inaugural release was the 2023 Bon Appet-Nat, a Shiraz pét-nat made with fruit from Broken View Estate in Rothbury.
