Boomer Creek is a small family vineyard, sheep, cattle and olive farm on Tasmania's Great Eastern Drive at Little Swanport. Colin Walters senior established it under the Walters name in 1969, and it is now run by the third generation.
The three-hectare Ocean block, planted in 2012, slopes east towards the sea, and the two-hectare Dam block followed in 2022. The family also breeds fine-wool Merino sheep and Hereford cattle and has a three-hectare olive grove.
The range includes sparkling Riesling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, rosé, Pinot Noir, Syrah and a Malbec Merlot, and the cellar door is tracking its carbon footprint.
