Bungawarra

Bungawarra Wines is a family vineyard at Ballandean in Queensland's Granite Belt, handcrafting wine from vines up to a century old.

Jeff Harden took over in 1993 and, despite tough drought, brought the vineyard back to life: the cellar door reopened, more wines were made from estate fruit, and the medals followed. Jeff is hands-on in every step, from tending the vines to bottling on site, so each wine reflects its season and the land.

The relaxed cellar door has a deck overlooking the vineyard, and visitors are welcome to picnic among the trees.
