Capital Wines

Capital Wines is a Canberra District producer established in 2008. In early 2020 it was bought by Bill and Maria Mason and Colin and Kay Andrews, who continue to run it today.

Most of the fruit comes from the Andrews' Jeir Station Vineyard on the Barton Highway at Murrumbateman, the heart of the Canberra District's cool-climate wine country. Depending on the vintage, Capital Wines also sources fruit from neighbouring vineyards and nearby regions. Bill Mason also owns Kosciuszko Wines, which sources its fruit from Tumbarumba, and a regional wine distribution business.

Capital Wines does not have a cellar door, but its wines can be tasted by appointment.
