Castle Glen Australia began operations in 1990 when its vineyard was planted. Cedric constructed 'The Castle', a well-known building located centrally in the Granite Belt, in 1994. Later, the business launched the Granite Belt's first brewery in 2009 and set up the first whiskey distillery in Queensland.
Wines from Castle Glen Vineyard are crafted entirely from their own grapes, which are harvested by hand annually at an altitude of 938 metres in the Granite Belt. The estate produces, matures, and bottles all of its sparkling wines, fortifieds, and standard wines directly on the vineyard property.
