Cavedon Wines makes cool-climate, single-vineyard wines from a third-generation family vineyard in the King Valley. In 2017, as Pia's father Dino Cavedon planned to retire, Gabe and Pia left their careers to take on the farm, which was at a crossroads.
In their second year Gabe began experimenting, with a Tempranillo nouveau, a Pinot Noir and a bottle-fermented Prosecco, and the label was born to celebrate Dino's hard work.
There is no cellar door yet; the wines are sold at Hobbledehoy in the King Valley.
