Evenfall is a vineyard on the edge of the Tamar Valley at Legana, 15 minutes from Launceston, and one of Tasmania's founding vineyard sites, with some of the state's oldest Cabernet vines alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
It is the first wine venture of Richard Winspear, from a Tasmanian pastoral family, who bought the property in 2019. His team includes Natalie Fryar of Bellebonne as consultant, winemaker Liam McElhinney and viticulturist Matthias Utzinger.
The cellar door offers tastings and a dining room with views over the Tamar River. The 2022 Pinot Noir scored 95 points.
