Laurel Bank Vineyard was established by Kerry Carland in 1986 at Granton, 20 minutes from Hobart, on north-facing slopes overlooking the River Derwent.
Its cool maritime climate suits the Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and small plantings of Bordeaux varieties, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, which make award-winning wines.
The cellar door is no longer open for tastings, but wine can be bought from the winery by arrangement.
