Lindeman's (Hunter Valley)

Lindeman's was founded in 1843 by Dr Henry John Lindeman, who planted its first vines at his Cawarra estate in the Hunter Valley. The brand is now owned by Treasury Wine Estates, and in 1993 its Bin 65 Chardonnay was Australia's top-selling white wine export.

The historic Hunter estate on McDonalds Road, Pokolbin, formerly Lindeman's Ben Ean, was bought by the McGuigan and Peterson families in 2017 and renamed Ben Ean. The Hunter wines have traditionally included Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
