R D'meure began in 2016 as a partnership between winemaker Rory Duggan and his uncle Dirk Meure, and Rory took over production in 2020. The estate is a 1-hectare vineyard at Birchs Bay, overlooking the D'Entrecasteaux Channel in southern Tasmania, planted in 1991 and farmed organically since 2004.
Riesling and Pinot Noir also come from Coal River Valley vineyards such as Antipodes and Pressing Matters. It makes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc.
