Rosemount Estate (Hunter Valley)

Rosemount Estate's Hunter Valley wines come from the region where the company began. In 1969 the Oatley family planted vines at Denman in the Upper Hunter Valley, and the Hunter remained the spiritual home of Rosemount as it grew into one of Australia's most successful wine exporters.

The Upper Hunter vineyards produced some of Rosemount's most celebrated wines, above all the Roxburgh Chardonnay, which set a benchmark for rich, complex Australian Chardonnay in the 1980s and 1990s. The Hunter's warm, humid climate also suits Semillon and Shiraz, both long part of Rosemount's story.

Rosemount is now part of Treasury Wine Estates. This page lists Rosemount wines identified as Hunter Valley releases; the brand's wider range appears under Rosemount Estate.
